About

A small press for practical home life

Thoughtful Living Press publishes clear, tested guides on the everyday skills that make a home run well.

We started because good household knowledge is scattered across half-remembered advice and content written for search engines rather than people. Our answer is simple: short, honest writing you can act on today, backed by longer deep dives when a subject deserves one.

Everything we publish falls into three places. The Reading Room holds the Thoughtful Letter and our free guides. The Reference covers plants, herbs, fruit and household chemicals at a glance — what it is, how to use it, and what to be careful with. The Press Shop holds our e-books, where a topic gets the full treatment.

How we research: we read current label guidance and public-health sources, test methods in real kitchens and gardens, and say plainly when something is a preference rather than a rule. When guidance changes, we update the guide and note the date.

What we will not do: publish medical claims, recommend mixing household chemicals, or bury affiliate links in advice. If a page is sponsored or affiliate-supported, it says so at the top.
